As a Barclays Technical Product Owner, you will work closely with the GTIS (Global Technology Infrastructure Services) Public Cloud engineering teams to deliver the expected capabilities and benefits to outcomes and associated benefits to support specific business strategies.

They work with the other stakeholders to create, drive, evolve and communicate the overall product vision, roadmap and backlog.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Defining vision and strategy for the Products in the Public Cloud portfolio products including presenting at key design technology forums
  • Ensuring the teams fully understand the overall product vision
  • Prioritising the product backlog, tracking release progress and forecasting release scope based on real data
  • Creating the business case, developing relevant forecasts and measuring impact
  • Optimising the product's commercial performance return on investment (ROI)
  • Validating and approving the content of product delivery increments
  • Prioritising work and communicating with the Business Unit consumers
  • Driving strategy for products including presenting at key design technology forums

What we're looking for:


  • Experienced in articulating business outcomes, features and ability to elaborate user stories that support teams in delivery of functional requirements
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of data to identify specific trends and insights
  • Ability to encourage team by recognizing individual contributions and openly acknowledging accomplishments whilst creating opportunities for others to excel
  • Experienced in working within an agile framework

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Demonstrable AWS or Azure experience in an Enterprise Environment
  • Experience in Product Ownership in technology infrastructure
  • Experience in infrastructure engineering or architecture with some development experience and understanding of networking
  • Experience of delivering technology change in a regulated industry with crossregional technology delivery

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.

The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.

The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
