Job Title: Flow Cytometry Scientist at a Leading Laboratory

The CK Group is currently looking for a skilled Flow Cytometry Scientist to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will involve being part of the Biomarker group within Laboratory Operations, focusing on clinical sample analysis following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

Location: York, full-time onsite

Working Hours: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, daytime hours

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis on clinical trials samples as per required standards and timelines
• Review, authorize, and report results using Laboratory Information Systems
• Document quality events within Quality Management Systems
• Assist in instrument and method validation tasks
• Participate in general laboratory housekeeping and stock management

Background Requirements:

• Degree in a biological science discipline. Immunology background is a plus
• 5+ years' hands-on experience in Flow Cytometry analysis and data processing
• Experience in multicolour panel design is beneficial
• Additional experience with plate-based analytical techniques such as ELISA and multiplexing is highly advantageous
• Technical expertise in assay validation with method development exposure
• Prior exposure to a regulatory environment, preferably working to GCP standards
