Factory Operative
Foremans Packaging is a well established manufacturer, with an enviable reputation for quality and service. Based in Chelmsford for 150 years, we are suppliers to key manufacturers of medical, military and the aerospace industry.


We are looking for a Factory Operative to work in our Corrugated machine department who has previous experience within a factory environment.

This is a great opportunity to join a company where you will get fully trained on the machine operating of industry specific machinery


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Loading and unloading machinery with cardboard
  • Basic machine operating
  • Recording of quality data
  • Measuring and assembly
  • Stacking and wrapping pallets
  • General factory duties as required
  • Keeping area clear of finished goods

Skills, Knowledge, Experience:


  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous factory/production experience
  • Familiar with manual handling practices
  • Able to complete manual handling tasks
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be fit and able as some lifting is required
39 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
8am to 4.30pm (3.30pm finish on Friday)


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
