About the business:


You will be a machine operator in our corrugated department flexographic printing onto corrugated board which will include setting up machine, printing and daily printer maintenance.

The duties are varied making it an interesting role


Key Responsibilities of a machine operator:

  • Learning to operate manufacturing machinery that includes manual handling and heavy lifting.
  • Being an active member of a small team striving to hit daily/weekly KPI targets.
  • Ensuring that the products meet our highquality standards.
  • Ensuring your working environment is safe, clean and tidy.
  • Following company health and safety procedures.

Key skills and attributes of a Machine Operator:

  • A desire to work hard to develop a career in cardboard packaging.

  • A strong desire to improve your own skillset.
  • An ability to work to high standards with minimum supervision.

Necessary skills of a Machine Operator

  • Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred skills

  • Experience of batch manufacturing process management.
  • Experience of die cutting, flexographic printing, gluing and stitching processes.
