Warehouse Operative

Location:
Chesterfield

Salary:
£22,000 per annum

Contract Type:
Full-time


We are currently seeking a motivated and efficient Warehouse Operative for a highly reputable company specialising in providing tailored music and digital signage solutions to clients around the world.

This company has a strong footprint in the industry, serving an array of business sectors including retail, hospitality, and leisure.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Accurately picking and packing items from the picking list generated
  • Despatching equipment nationally and internationally
  • Assist in stocktakes
  • Loading and unloading of goods coming into and out of the warehouse.
  • Assisting with purchasing as and when required.
  • Learn how to to build music and video players so that as and when required will be able to assist the production team
  • Learn how to book in, clean and test returned music players so that as and when required will be able to
- assist the production team

  • Maintaining high levels of housekeeping at all times.
  • Adhere to H&S policy
  • Assist other departments as and when required by your linemanager
  • Any other tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining records.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £22,000.00 per year
