Infrastructure Analyst - Server, Azure, Virtual Desktops, O365, Intune

Our client is a leading managed service provider to the legal sector, they specialise in launching new entrants into the legal marketplace and provide both consulting advice and ongoing managed services to their expanding legal client list.

Because of growth they are now actively looking to expand and require an Infrastructure Analyst (Server, Azure, Virtual Desktops, O365, Intune) to join the team.

This role will report to the firms Head of IT and will have a consultative approach, as wellas the aptitude to quickly understand new and emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities for this Infrastructure Analyst (Server, Azure, Virtual Desktops, O365, Intune) are:

Own the design, governance, principles, and strategy for the new public cloud platform within Microsoft Azure
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems
Contribute to the drive of automation and continuous improvement of services and support
Work with stakeholders to define systems requirements for new technology implementations
Make recommendations on hardware and software assessments and upgrades
Establish processes and procedures to improve and support global service delivery
Ensure operational documentation is up to date, tested and distributed
Ensure the infrastructure and core technologies are always operating optimally (meeting all agreed SLA/OLA)
Maintain and regularly test the firm's Business Continuity Plans to mitigate key IT business risks in line with the firm's policies
Day to day activities include monitoring and reviewing service delivery, responding to escalations, and maintaining the stability of the services

Microsoft Azure
Azure VMs, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Networking (Azure FW, Virtual Networks, App gateway, NSGs & UDRs), Azure Security Centre, Conditional Access, Azure AD & Azure AD Domain Services
Virtual Desktops (Windows Virtual Desktop, Citrix, Terminal Services)
FSLogix & Profile Management
365 Suite Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint & ATP
Microsoft Intune Endpoint Management & Autopilot builds
