The Role
Responsible for the implementation, execution and ongoing support of automated testing, including tool selection, preparation of test plans, and the testing of software to and completion of testing according to
_PRS for Music_'s testing guidelines.


The Digital Innovation & Experimentation Team work closely with teams across PRS to develop digital experiences for our members, customers and business partners.

Our work is informed by Agile practice and user insight, to continually deliver fixes and features.

We also lead digital in many projects with a commercial focus that develops ideas from inception to launch and beyond.

Responsibilities:

As our Manual / QA Tester, some of your day to day duties will include.

  • Develop, execute and maintain test plans and test code across multiple environments.
  • Promote good software engineering processes (e.g. CI/CD, TDD, BDD).
  • Responsible for automated test tool selection, supporting the endtoend automation testing set up, including configuration.
  • Responsible for delivering and managing the automated acceptance and regression test packs and running these as appropriate on builds and sprints.
  • Monitor and manage continuous integration environment.
  • Act as test lead in various work streams working closely with PMs, developers and collaborate across teams.
  • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of our testing and release processes.
  • Produce Test Deliverables: Test Scenarios and Test Cases (detailed scripts) to test each software component, demonstrating the business conditions under test and the expected results.
  • Responsible for the preparation of test environments and test data.
  • Delivers all testing documentation relating to specified project or change including testing activity and progress reports/metrics.
  • Responsible for highlighting and reporting defects.

  • Experience of api automation with RestShartp.
  • Sound knowledge/understanding of OOP and good coding principles.
  • Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
  • Proficiency in.
Net C# programming language.

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple and as follows:

  • First stage interview virtually.
  • Second stage interview in person at our London Bridge Hub.

Location
We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home for 3 days per week. However, when you see the view from our London Bridge Hub overlooking the River Thames, we are sure you will want to join us in our fun, collaborative working space
