The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Executive to join us at PRS for Music.

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the events and sponsorship calendar, curating and shaping our owned events and building strong relationships with partners, suppliers, venues and the industry.


The Team


Our team is made up over 20 creative minds, spanning public relations, events, editorial, social media, creative design, member comms, digital and public affairs.

We shape PRS for Music's voice, image and reputation through external communications and marketing.

Salary c£28,000 pa plus benefits


Responsibilities:


As our Events Executive you will have a varied role and some of your day to day duties will include.

Planning

  • Support the delivery of integrated annual Events and Sponsorship
  • Ensure all Events and Sponsorships have a clear objective and key message that fulfil our KPI's
  • Negotiate appropriate sponsorship packages ensuring excellent value to PRS for Music
  • Support the creation and agreement of contracts in line with company policy

Budget

  • Work with the Senior Marketing and Events Manager to manage the Events and Sponsorship budget
  • Be responsible for the processing of invoices and supply documentation to ensure payments are made on time and in line with contractual obligations.

Logistics

  • Be responsible for the logistics of Events and Sponsorships including, venue sourcing, invitations, guest lists, branding, internal briefings, production of event related materials
  • Take a project management approach to events logistics building confidence and trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be responsible for the running and execution of events on the day
  • Be responsible for the execution of the Sponsorship and Corporate Events
  • Build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders including working alongside senior leadership team and PRS Council members
  • Build strong relationships with venues and suppliers to ensure the best value to PRS for Music

PRS AGM - Annual General Meeting

  • Take responsibility for the PRS AGM logistics executing the plan to deliver the event on time and to budget. Work alongside ELT, CoSec and Member Communications to develop and agree all logístical requirements including execution.

About you:

Previous experience in an event and sponsorship role essential

Experience in AGMs, event panels, corporate receptions and the management of live music events preferred

Technically proficient in presentation software

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple and as follows:

  • First stage interview virtually on MS Teams.
  • Second stage interview in person at our London Bridge Hub.
