Write Education, Health, and Care plans (EHCP) based on assessment advice analysis.
Handle various aspects of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) code of practice.
Ensure proper placement of pupils with EHCPs in different educational settings.
Draft EHCPs to provide adequate support for children with SEN.
Participate in the Single Multi Agency Panel (SMAP) to ensure fair provision for all SEN pupils.
Listen to parental representations and the child's voice.
Provide continuous advice and support to parents, professionals, and schools regarding EHCP support.
Contribute to local authority guidance on supporting SEN children in mainstream schools.
Review EHCPs annually or in exceptional circumstances.
Establish alternative educational provision for challenging SEN pupils.

Qualifications/ Knowledge:

Degree in a relevant area like Education, Health, or Social Care.
Understanding of SEN legislation, Code of Practice, and Disability Discrimination in Schools.
Knowledge and commitment to inclusive education principles.
