As a recent graduate within the acoustics department, you will have the chance to contribute to a variety of technical initiatives, guided by the team's extensive experience to assist you in advancing your expertise and skills. While specific tasks will vary depending on ongoing projects, your responsibilities may involve:

• Contributing to acoustic assessments, data analysis, forecasts, and 3D modeling for various projects
• Conducting on-site visits for acoustic measurements and observations
• Engaging in primary research and literature reviews
• Assisting senior colleagues in offering technical guidance to clients
• Preparing technical reports
• Interacting with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in client and design team meetings
• Contributing to project scopes and fee proposals
• Engaging in STEM activities

There will be on-the-job technical training and classroom instruction as needed, as well as the opportunity to work on real client projects with broad multidisciplinary exposure.

The professional institution you will be working towards is the Institute of Acoustics.

BSc/MSc degree in Acoustics, Acoustical Engineering, Sound Engineering and Production (Physics or Mechanical Engineering if an interest/experience in Acoustics). Holding a degree classification of 2:1 or higher (or equivalent) is preferred

• Desire to become a corporate member of the Institute of Acoustics and eventually a Chartered Acoustician
• Proficiency in essential Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Possessing a full driving license would be advantageous as the role will entail travel for site surveys
• Readiness to travel and occasionally work outside standard office hours
• Strong numerical skills
• Capability to organize & prioritize work efficiently through close collaboration with the team
• Effective communication skills with both internal and external clients, verbally & in writing, demonstrating the ability to interact with various individuals and intelligently discuss technical matters and gather feedback
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working, ambitious, and driven
• Excellent research and report writing abilities
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team, cooperating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders as needed, and independently while maintaining initiative & focus
• Flexibility in working under pressure, adapting to changing project and program requirements
