We are seeking to recruit an
Associate Director of Contracts to join our Connected Aviation Solutions business. This role can be remote based within the UK.

Role overview:


Collins Aerospace is looking for a self-motivated, passionate contracts professional to serve as the Associate Director of Contracts for the Airports portfolio within the Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) business unit.

CAS has just over $1B in annual revenue. We have 2,000 employees in 33 countries, including more than 35 LCC team members worldwide.

CAS products and services support more than 22,000 aircrafts, 33,000 active Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) receivers to enable flight tracking, 250 airports, 13 million web and app users and over 5,000 unique customers.

The Airports portfolio offers integrated solutions for passenger processing and facilitation, airport operations, and baggage management. Our self-service solutions help create a seamless travel experience for a high volume of passengers.


Role responsibilities:

In this role you will report to the CAS - Contracts Director and be responsible for:

  • Managing a global Contracts Team;
  • Review, drafting and negotiation of a wide range of contracts including, global government contracts, construction contracts, software and other intellectual property licensing agreements as well deploying templates and standard agreements;
  • Identify risks associated with customer contracts and assist with risk mitigation strategies;
  • Advise, partner, and seek input from senior business leaders within the Airports portfolio;
  • Strategic functional initiatives; including policy, process improvements, training and people development;
  • Proactively ensure function's performance and compliance to company policy;
  • Creatively problem solve and resolve the most complex functional issues;
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration activities as needed;
  • Travel to both CAS and customer locations as needed
  • Travel up to 20%
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred requirements:


  • Bachelors degree
  • MBA degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Significant relevant experience in a similar role with previous experience in managing a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks.
  • Must be a good team player and business partner, capable of adapting contracts approach and analysis in an environment with rapidly changing digital technologies and competing priorities.
