Account Manager Wanted


At Robertson Sumner, we are looking for an experienced and drivenAccount Manager to join our Global End User Team in Ireland.

We are a leading global distributor of Network & Security Solutions, Electrical & Electronic Solutions and Utility Power Solutions.


We are looking for an individual who is an expert in strategic selling and has 5 years of proven sales experience as a strategic account manager working directly with the end user.


They must have quantifiable experience nurturing, managing, growing end user accounts as well as proven wins securing new end user business.


You will be expected to identify existing and new business pain, growth/expansion plans and opportunities with the ability to offer up 360 solutions.


You should understand and be able to upsell our full and extensive tool kit, while introducing internal expert teams where needed.


You should also have strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, be proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office and be a strong collaborator across multiple business units.

Your Role


As our Global Account Manager, you will maintain client relationships with key target accounts and identify cross/up and repeat sales opportunities as well as work to resolve any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.


You will lead the development and execution of the Strategic Account Plans at key, named accounts, and communicate customer activity, opportunity status, renewal status, and strategic plan progress to the Manager/Director.


You will also be expected to lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs and engage Supplier sales resources to enlist their support and create solutions.


Requirements:


  • 5 years working proven sales experience as a strategic account manager working directly with the end user
  • Quantifiable experience nurturing, managing, growing end user accounts as well as proven wins securing new end user business necessary
  • Experience customer facing account manager/management of large account portfolios
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects
  • Proven experience of success maintaining and developing key relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Strong negotiation and problemsolving skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Selfstarter and able to work efficiently under pressure
