Description

We are looking for a flexible, friendly person with a positive approach and a drive for self-development to join this small established internal sales team in Huddersfield.

Joining a great team environment you will be responsible for liaising with customers and transport carriers to solve any issues and provide admin/customer service support to the sales team.


Duties include:


  • Liaise with transport carriers and maximise the effectiveness of the working relationship
  • Chasing delays in delivery / following up with carriers and keeping customers informed
  • Ensuring missing items are fully investigated, with detailed information passed to the carrier
  • Processing online claims for loss/damaged deliveries, within a set timeframe
  • Proactive checking of partial deliveries / misrouted items
  • Liaise with relevant departments companywide
  • Requesting and ensuring receipt of credits where applicable
  • Keeping lines of communication open between the company, our carriers and our customers
  • Assist the internal sales team with daytoday administrative and customer service duties

Requirements:


  • Experience in a sales support, office administration or customer services environment is essential. Experience within the automotive or logistics sector would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm


Salary:
£26,000


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

£26,000.00 per year
