The Role:

Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will report directly to the Portfolio Manager and be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all technology solutions within business projects according to predetermined time, cost, and quality standards.

You will oversee the mobilization, delivery, and handover of technology solutions using both waterfall and agile methodologies. This includes managing internal and external resources, monitoring all IT expenditures within the project, and guaranteeing that the solution enables the business to reap the benefits associated with the project.

• Lead performance evaluations with key stakeholders.

Governance

Member/Invitee of the following boards:

• Project Delivery Board
• Steer Co's
• Triage Meetings
• Financial Approval Boards
• Portfolio Review Board
• Ensure strict adherence to all governance, standards, and processes across the IAG Cargo organization.
• Conduct internal technology satisfaction surveys and drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Proactively contribute to enhancing practices at IAG Cargo, particularly related to the Operating Model and work methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all technology resources and deliverables within the broader project team.
• Ensure the successful delivery of all IT solutions from design through deployment, testing, and handover to support.
• Oversee that solution delivery aligns with standards, incorporating both waterfall and agile techniques.
• Create and maintain the Solution Delivery plan to monitor and track progress.
• Manage project finances related to IT expenditures, including budget forecasting, expense approval, and actual tracking.
• Ensure successful project launches during the startup and initiation phases.
• Verify that Solution Delivery scope is approved, meets business needs, and ensures quality.
• Assure the quality of technology solutions by collaborating with Solution Assurance teams and overseeing defect resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure successful deployment of technology changes into the live environment and manage any post-go-live issues.
• Oversee the smooth execution of multiple projects by coordinating internal IT resources and third-party/vendors.
• Manage third-party statements of work and finances to ensure seamless delivery of their deliverables.
• Utilize appropriate project management tools and techniques to measure performance.
• Present timely and precise project progress and outcomes to both the business and wider portfolio stakeholders.
• Conduct risk management to mitigate potential risks and prevent impacts on timelines, costs, and quality metrics.
• Manage changes in scope, timelines, and costs following change management protocols.

Your Experience:

Essential Experience:

• Over 5 years in a senior business/client partnering/relationship role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading projects in a large multinational setting.
• Hands-on experience with project, program, and portfolio management tools, such as MS Project, Portfolio for Jira, SAP PPM, MS PPM, HP PPM, Primavera.
• Demonstrated use of project and portfolio management or Agile methodologies, for instance, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe.
• Experience managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies in projects within a portfolio environment.

Desirable Experience:

• Prior experience in the Logistics, Freight, Courier industry.
• Involvement in significant technology and business transformation programs.
