My client is a global firm, with an exceptional reputation, who are recruiting a Senior Global Mobility Advisor on a permanent basis.

This role is an opportunity to support in managing and shaping the development of the firm's current mobility programme, bringing new and innovative ideas and suggestions to the table.


The Senior Global Mobility Advisor will be responsible for supporting global and domestic assignments, international transfers and global transfers, working closely with the wider team, reporting to the Senior Global Mobility Manager.


The key duties will include:

  • Lead international secondments and transfers and ad hoc mobility cases as required for international client and office to office secondments
  • Work with the Senior Global Mobility Manager on strategic and tactical projects as directed by the business needs
  • Provide day to day operational assistance in the team, building capability within it as well as finding solutions to complex mobility problems/questions
  • Identify and share knowledge across HR to facilitate continuous improvement in global policies and processes
  • Assist in process review and budget submission
  • Create and maintain international secondment tracking and provide relevant MI
  • Build relationships and credibility with key partners and staff in all offices
  • Establish commercial relationships with external providers to obtain immigration advice on a range of immigration issues.
  • Ensure that the Firm is immigration and regulatory compliant and advise HR colleagues on relevant practices and processes in respect to immigration and Right to Work
  • Provide HR colleagues with the information needed to manage secondment queries and coach them for quality conversations with their stakeholders.
  • Provide input into secondment cost projections, and liaise with tax and HR colleagues and the Business to obtain secondment signoff;
  • Provide advice as necessary on all aspects of secondment policy and process;
  • Support and promote the various mobility policies and change management processes
  • Promote consistency of secondment packages
  • Close liaison and collaboration with international mobility team members in other offices
  • Managing cases (primarily Partner and senior associate/management moves although as needs arise other moves)
  • Leading and implementing IM projects
  • Review and improve mobility processes where possible;


The Senior Global Mobility Advisor will have experience in working within a Global Mobility function and/or Immigration within a professional services environment.

You will be highly organised, detail oriented and culturally aware. A strong knowledge of global mobility, immigration and tax issues across other countries will be essential. You will also need a great attitude and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
