- Job Type: Full-time
- Utilise SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce high-quality 3D models and technical drawings.
- Design and draw complex drawings and share knowledge with the Junior CAD Designer.
- Amend and update drawings as required and maintain the drawing management system with standard drawings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create designs from customer briefs.
- Assist the Design Supervisor with designs and drawings requiring configurations.
- Support the Business Development Manager and sales team by designing effective solutions while minimising manufacturing costs.
- Contribute to the design and development of new products, mould designs, and modifications.
- Ensure production has the correct technical drawings and necessary information.
- Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders to support drawing and design development and product quality.
- Recommend and implement innovative ways of working to increase productivity and drawing range.
- Occasionally support the Sales and Order Processing team with order processing.
- Provide KPI data as required by the business.
- Extensive experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce 3D models and technical drawings.
- Design/Engineering based qualification
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise effectively.
- Good project management skills and a proactive continuous improvement mindset.
