Description

This an exciting new post within NHSBT, where you will be accountable for the strategic development, management and delivery of the national nurse led Clinical Support (CS) Service to support the delivery of safe blood and plasma products.

You will lead and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that the team provide excellent donor eligibility, post donation care, product management and expert advice to NHSBT departments and external organisations, utilising evidence-based knowledge and practices to ensure safe, effective, person-centred practice and care.

You will plan and lead the production and delivery of the CS Service strategy and business plan and be responsible for ensuring national standard setting and audit is effective and contributes to the development of quality improvement frameworks.
