New Opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Job Title:

  • Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Location:
North London (Highgate)


Start Date:

ASAP

End Date:
several months initially/ ongoing

Working Pattern:
Mon - Fri 37.5 9am - 5pm


Specific Skills:

  • We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to work on a female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • The job includes: Provision of ADL assessments, therapeutic engagement, input around behaviour support plans and care plans to support identified goals for therapeutic management of violence and aggression.
  • The postholder will be working closely with the ward teams to facilitate safe and effective discharge planning including attending MDT meetings, carrying out home assessments where indicated, writing reports and recommendations.
