Lara Search are currently recruiting for three part-time learning support assistants, on behalf of a vocational training & apprenticeship provision for 16-24-year-olds in Kings Cross.

Job Details:

You will be required to work from 23 days a week on an ad hoc basis to suit your availability.
This provision supports learners who have a key interest within the creative industries, namely gaming, music & media.
The learners have a variety of needs including autism, comprehension delay, challenging behaviour, dyslexia, and learning difficulties.
This role will be on a parttime basis and will commence immediately.
The hours are 9am 4pm, with a 5pm finish on either Tuesdays or Thursdays.
To be considered for this role you will need to have Maths and English at GCSE grade C and above and be educated to degree level or have extensive experience supporting SEND students.
Have a personality
Be confident with strong behaviour and classroom management
Be from a creative background or have a key interest in the creative industries
Have excellent timekeeping
Able to use own initiative
Able to commit to at least 23 days a week on an ad hoc basis
100% attendance
Great interest in making a difference
Act as a great role model for the learners.
Passion for supporting children with special needs

This role could be suitable for someone with a background in youth work.
