Description

Simply360 are working with an exciting global advertising agency who has an opening for a Accounts Payable Manager to join their fun team based in Farringdon.

Core responsibilities:

Responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function for four entities in Europe.
Ensuring that all supplier invoices adhere to company policy and are posted in a timely manner.
Approve multiple supplier payment runs, including manual payments on a weekly basis.
Approval of all staff expenses within company guidelines,
Setting up manual payments in various currencies.
Overseeing the reconciliation of all supplier statements and investigate any issues that cannot be resolved by the Accounts Payable Assistant.
Payment processing on banking software (including BACS payment files).
Posting credit card transactions, including the business travel account.
Be the escalation point for all supplier queries and issues.
Working closely with the Production department in regard to advance payments.
Help support the setting up of all new suppliers and maintaining accurate supplier accounts (including record keeping).
Setting up all new employees and their expenses accounts on Maconomy.
Verifying all new bank detail notifications within company guidelines.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Actively encourage the continuous improvement of the payables function and processes.
Adhere to the monthly timetable and reporting deadlines at month end.

Skills and Experience:

Ideally you will have 2+ years' previous experience in a similar role (ideally withing a small agency), including previous staff supervision, staff training and a good understanding of Maconomy software.
