We offer engineering services across the fullproject lifecycle from feasibility studies and design through toinstallation commissioning and assetmanagement.

About thejob

The Junior Design Engineerwill be responsiblefor assisting the Design Engineer and theEngineering Design team in the design and development of electricalpower systems equipment and infrastructure. Your support andexpertise will contribute to the successful execution of projectsand the delivery of highquality engineeringsolutions.

Responsibilities:

Participateand deliver the design of electrical systems and components forvarious projects.
Collaborate with DesignEngineers to support ongoing projects providing assistancein areassuch as surveying primary and secondary design system integrationtestingand commissioning. Identify and support opportunities forcost savings efficiency andbusinessimprovement.
Prepare and maintain projectdocumentation including drawings technicalspecifications andreports. Ensure that documentation meets the organisationalandclients procedures standards andrequirements.
Use ComputerAided Design (CAD)software to deliver electrical and civilsdesigns.
Support the Design Engineers to updatethe project programmes and budgets trackers on a regularbasis.
Support the delivery of highqualitytechnical reports and presentations.
Understandindustry trends emerging technologies and best practices inelectricaland civil engineering. Actively seek opportunities forprofessional development.
Prepare workschedules and allocate resources. as well as supervisingsubcontractors. Ensure all work is delivered safety and followssafety by design principles.
Ensure all safetyquality technical and commercial requirements aremet.
Support the full lifecycle from engagementwith new and existing clients and the supply chain to winning ofnew works to design delivery and handover at practicalcompletion.
Representing Integrum at nationallevel ensuring all enquires are handled in the appropriate mannerand a positive image of the company is alwaysmaintained.

Whatyou will need to besuccessful:

Educated todegree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering disciplinewithideally Engineering Technician or Incorporated Engineerstatus.
Have experience working in or withindustry preferably in a multidisciplinary design development andproduction environment creating bespokesolutions.
Understanding of design engineeringon projects in the railway and renewableenergy industries and/orwider transmission & distributionsectors.
Ability to support in the quotation ofnew works using estimatingsoftware.
Willingness to support and or lead onproject H&S processes and production ofassociateddocumentation including hazard identification designersriskassessment and methodstatements.
Outstanding selfrelianceresourcefulness and initiative flexible approach andexcellent timemanagement.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to newtechnologies and challenges.
Excellentanalytical and problemsolvingskills
