We are now recruiting for a General Hand to join our team in Bembridge. You will conduct a crucial role within Britten-Norman ensuring all maintenance is conducted in a timely manner.

This role will give someone from a trade background the experience to work within a unique environment and an expanding company.

Primary Tasks
Main tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Making sure the shop floor, building, and external grounds are kept clean and tidy
  • Assist with Support Services with tasks when required
  • Assist with painting, decorating, and repair work
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety department if there is any work that is needed to be done to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Ability to remain flexible to meet the wider demands of an expanding business
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work alone or within a team

Required Experience

  • Manual laboring experience is essential
  • Experience working in a trade is needed for this role
  • PAT Testing experience is desirable.
