    Data Analysis Apprentice

    Great Western Hospital, Swindon

    37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday or

    Salary: £18,299 - £20,000 per annum plus benefits & 25 days annual leave

    Apprenticeship Qualification: L3 Data Technican

    Expected Apprenticeship Duration: 12-15 months

    Main Purpose:

    The role will support the Business Support Manager providing organisational and data analysis assistance to the GWH contract and management team including developing, improving, and updating business processes, monitoring, analysing, and reporting on contract performance, studying the data and analysing to provide analytical data for management and identification of themes for improvement.

    Main Accountabilities:


    • Support the Business Support Manager in keeping existing operating processes up to date, continually improved through ongoing analysis of trends, and track contract compliance against them.


    • Assist on the production of monthly performance reports and activities in support of contract governance and performance reporting


    • Provide information and data analysis for monthly contract Business Performance Reviews and annual business lifecycle reviews


    • Collect, analyse and document data to identify themes for improvement, discrepancies and provide reporting back to management.


    • Assist with maintaining a document control register for all mandated contractual and Serco Management System mandated documents, ensuring all are reviewed within the relevant timeframes.


    • Support the compilation of the monthly Business Performance Report, client performance reports and service line reporting.


    • Assist with ensuring that all staff training is recorded to deliver contractual and mandatory training throughout the year


    • Support to provide accurate data on the contract weekly time and attendance reviews, and associated analysis to identify improvement opportunities.


    • Provide support to meetings to record actions and minutes as required.


    • Support specific business support and improvement tasks and initiatives across the contract

    • Analytical, research, problem solving aptitude


    • Excellent organisational ability and demonstrates a flexible approach to work, is selfmotivated with the ability to juggle multiple priorities


    • Strong in MS Office, MS PowerPoint and Excel
