The Role:


New Business Seller - Earls Colne, Essex


NFU Mutual's Earls Colne Agency has an exciting opportunity for an office-based New Business Seller on a permanent full-time contract.


Working week:
Monday - Friday 9.00am till 5pm

Salary:
up to £25,000 depending on experience


As a New Business Seller within our friendly team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local insurance business, contributing to the smooth running of the office and ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do.

Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle new business insurance quotations and undertake general sales tasks with a 'can-do' proactive attitude.


You will also maximise inbound sales opportunities, cross selling to existing clients by using your excellent telephone manner to make the most of every call.

Duties include:


  • Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of NFU Mutual general insurance products
  • Reviewing and advising upon general customer insurance requirements
  • Proactively establish customer needs to help find solutions from our product range
  • Obtaining appointments for our Financial Advisor
  • Operating within our compliance framework
  • Developing and sustaining effective working relationships
  • Performing other duties as assigned by Management Team

Desirable skills and experience for this position:

  • Experience of customer service and sales
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and work under own initiative
  • A flexible cando attitude and the ability to prioritise
  • Prompt, organised, reliable and trustworthy

Minimum qualifications required:


  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C or above (Grade 4 or above), or equivalent experience
  • Good IT Skills particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Dynamics
This position is based in our Earls Colne office.
