The London Fire Brigade is offering the opportunity to join our Education Team, delivering important fire safety workshops to primary school aged children across London.

Working flexibly on a term-time / part -time only basis you will travel throughout the Greater London area working a 6.5 hour day.


As one of the largest fire and rescue services in the world, the London Fire Brigade responds to emergencies, keeping our diverse community safe from fires.

Education plays a critical role within our Prevention & Protection department, and fire safety education is an essential way to raise awareness of key safety messages to keep children safe.

Our Education Team delivers high-quality, impactful fire safety workshops in schools and at local events.

Experience of working with children and young people is essential. The role relies on your ability to communicate powerful messages in an inspiring and engaging way.

You will need to be able to adapt your delivery to meet the individual needs of the children and young people.

Prior experience of delivering presentations, workshops and activities would be advantageous.

Assessment for this role is due to take place Mid/Late February.

Please note:

Should you be shortlisted you may need to be able to conduct an interview over Microsoft Teams (a video conferencing service).
