CAD TechnicianLocation: Sheffield, UKCompany:Join a dynamic and innovative manufacturing company based in Sheffield, specializing in the fabrication of bespoke panels for a diverse array of markets.

Our portfolio encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from leisure and playground equipment to caravan manufacturing, truck bodies, the window industry, and construction.

If you have experience of working with fabrication / in a machine workshop and have an understanding of Alfacam or Maestro (CNC programming) you are encouraged to apply Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD software to design and develop innovative panel solutions tailored to specific client requirements.
Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to translate conceptual ideas into detailed CAD drawings.

Generate accurate 2D and 3D models of CNC machined panels, composite panels, external cladding, panel cores, pressed metal sheeting, building insulation, Ravatherm XPS sheets & blocks, portable staging, and modeling foam.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations while meeting client specifications.
Conduct regular quality checks and revisions to optimize designs for production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D modeling techniques.
Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector, preferably in panel fabrication or related industries.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot design issues and propose effective solutions.
