    Job Title: Pharmacy Technician at Middlewood Partnership

    As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team that includes Clinical Pharmacists, Prescribing Support Administrators, and Prescribing Team receptionists. Your role is crucial in supporting our patients and ensuring safe and efficient prescribing practices. The ideal candidate will align with our values and bring enthusiasm and expertise to enhance our patient care.

    This position aims to bolster the existing prescribing team as needed, offering flexibility in working hours without a set weekly schedule.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Safely process repeat medication requests
    • Assist in achieving success in prescribing incentive schemes
    • Transfer medicines information from other healthcare agencies to our patient information systems
    • Communicate with local pharmacies for efficient repeat prescribing
    • Liaise with practice doctors and staff on prescribing matters
    • Collaborate with external agencies to meet patient needs
    • Undertake medication review virtual clinics
    • Provide patient education materials on medication
    • Contribute to system changes for improved service provision
