The Company
Our client is a specialist well established engineering company. Due to sustained growth, they are now looking for an experienced Mechanical/ Hydraulic Fitter


The Role

  • Will be working day shift 37.5 hours per week.
  • This is a permanent role.
  • Meeting the needs of customers, ensuring that each product or service is delivered costeffectively, speedily and to the highest quality.
  • Fulfilling own responsibilities within the current Health and Safety and Employment Law.
  • Provide support to all members of staff to aid in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities.
  • Liaise with your Team or Manager to resolve any persistent or unresolved problems encountered.
  • Responsible for leading a small fitting team.
  • Liaise with the Works Manager to ensure alignment/adherence of the production schedule.
  • Responsible for driving the team to improve knowledge, work ethic, efficiency, culture and productivity.
  • To review and improve process and procedures accordingly with management.
  • Work on a variety of hydraulic components as required.
  • Working with hydraulic hoses, pipes, and valves.
  • Assembly of hydraulic and machined parts.

The Person

  • Time served Mechanical/Hydraulic technician with a proven track record in the relevant industry equipment with experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • The ability to read and work to engineering drawings.
  • Working within a multi skilled team producing highly technical components to strict industry quality standards and accreditation's.
  • Flexible approach to tasks.
  • Adhere to all QHSE practices.
  • Working on a range of products.
  • Flexible approach to tasks.
