Job Purpose
As a Maintenance manager, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks across our properties to ensure they are well-maintained and in optimal condition for our tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Ø Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and structural issues.
Ø Complete repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner, including repairing plumbing leaks, fixing electrical issues, and patching walls.
Ø Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Ø Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialised maintenance tasks or repairs.
Ø Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Ø Any other duties as directed by the head of department or senior management.
Key skills and competencies
Ø Strong knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Ø Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
Ø Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ø Valid clean driver's license.
Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ø Customer service-oriented with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Work Experience
Work experience in property maintenance is preferred but not required.
Pay:
£8.15-£13.93 per hour
