Assistant Finance Analyst

Fixed Term Until 31st March, 2024


Salary:
£28,956 (£30,480 is achieved after 12 months successful performance in the role)


Working Hours:
Full time 35 hours per week


Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday

Liverpool (Hybrid)

The difference you will make as an Assistant Finance Analyst:

The role holder will undertake routine financial analysis to support the Finance Analysts with the provision of business insight for effective operational activity and financial decision making.

You will assist with routine financial planning, analysis and reporting to support the preparation of actuals performance reporting, budgets and forecasts.

Job Purpose


Undertake routine financial analysis to support the Finance Analysts with the provision of business insight for effective operational activity and financial decision making.


Role requires you to:


  • Assist with routine financial planning, analysis and reporting to support the preparation of actuals performance reporting, budgets and forecasts.
  • Support with financial insight analysis, including the translation of routine financial data, identifying trends, patterns and anomalies.
  • Review financial performance variances to provide the business with current financial information.
  • Ensure that the business has robust financial data by reviewing and validating its integrity and quality.
  • Respond to routine or basic queries from internal customer and stakeholders, ensuring that the response is timely and compliant with the relevant control processes and frameworks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service.
  • Ensure that all data protection requirements are met in accordance with Group policy, procedures and statutory requirements. Ensure that health and safety requirements are met in accordance with Group policy, procedures and statutory requirements.
