    SR Program Manager, Temporary role, AFP - Amazon Freight Partner

    Amazon Freight Partners (AFP) is looking to hire an experienced Senior Program Manager in the economic model team to join in a temporary position.

    This role involves facilitating and supporting transport carriers who aspire to become entrepreneurs.

    The focus is on assisting them in establishing their companies, providing them with work opportunities, and ensuring they have the necessary resources.

    The objective is to enhance their performance and profitability as newly run logistics operators by making our internal pricing programs run efficiently
    Key job responsibilities
    Drive efficiency and improvements in the different teams and programs.


    • \tCreate economic models & automation models with Excel & SQL.
    • \tDevise driver wage plan for transportation / linehaul.
    • \tLabor market research.
    • \tIndustry research for drivers and carriers companies
    • \tCommunicate updates to senior stakeholders and leadership team. A day in the life

    The role includes market research, developing driver and partner programs, running analytical models for pricing, and apprising senior leaders on program success across a matrix organization.

    The goal is to create a model that maximizes asset utilization while making partners profitable, making the program more flexible and efficient.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree

    • Relevant experience communicating with and influencing a range of different stakeholders including senior management
    • Relevant experience in managing largescale programmes or projects
    • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon. If you have all the basic qualifications above, we'd love to hear from you.

    • Advanced or master's degree
    • Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Prince2 certifications, or any other project management certification
    • Relevant experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or operations environment
