The role
As a Residential Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

You'll be responsible to the Residential Manager for the delivery and support of the residential requirement as detailed in the Customer Services Manual, to include accommodation, office and classroom support.


Day to day, you'll primarily be assisting the Residential Manager in the Hunter Training Project (HTP) accommodation by preparing residential properties for occupation, transfer and release.

They will also carry out general duties with the upkeep of the properties.

  • Assist Residential Manager in the support of Hunter Training Project accommodation
  • Prepare residential properties for occupation, transfer and release
  • Carry out general duties with regard to the upkeep of the Hunter Training Project properties
  • Assist in the project organisation and setting up of meetings
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the Residential Manager
  • Maintaining the residential documents and filing system
  • Meet and greet occupants on first arrival in the UK at designated properties (some out of hours working required)
This role is full time and will be based at our MOD Collingwood site.


Essential experience of the Residential Assistant:

  • MS Office literate to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good written and verbal communications
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Must be able to work well within a high profile team
  • Be receptive to change
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
