Account Manager - Permanent - up to £40,000 - Flint


My client, a leading FMCG manufacturer in Flint is looking to recruit a tenacious, self-motivated, innovative Account Manager into their existing sales team.

You will be responsible for existing accounts worth upwards of £8m per annum and to organicallygrow your accounts.


The Role:

  • Building a strong integrated relationship with a key retail customer
  • Liaise with NPD department to innovate new ideas to maximise new market opportunities.
  • Oversee and complete all the relevant plans and promotional activity for the customer.
  • Oversee the arrangements for the setup any new product launches and ensure that all components are correct in advance of first production.
  • Provision of weekly forecast v
- actual reports for all internal parties.

  • Negotiate pricing and distribute to internal and external parties.
  • Undertake range reviews and provide a comprehensive range analysis to improve sales within the department.
  • Work in a cross functional team, coordinating category plans and liaising with category/marketing; product development; supply chain and Technical.
  • Provision of weekly report to the customer on 'weektodate' sales and additional opportunities.
  • Carry out weekly bench marking activities and carry out a monthly gap analysis to improve the range.
  • To understand the category and the current market position in comparison to other retailers and discounters.
  • Undertake any other adhoc requests from internal management or the customer.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office is essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential
