An opportunity is available for a Senior Surveyor to work with Manchester City Council on an initial 3 month contract, with the possibility of extension.


As an SSR you will be responsible for providing an effective high quality repairs service as part of a busy team.

Providing a full range of surveying services in relation to the maintenance and improvement of housing stock including ensuring such works arecarried out in accordance with specifications and contract terms and conditions.


You will be an excellent communicator who is highly organised and be able to deliver a high quality service to demanding timescales.

Within your role you will liaise with contractors to resolve any problems and ensure all work is carried out to the requiredstandard within budget

We are looking for individuals who possess a comprehensive understanding of damp, timber and structural defects and remedial treatments. You will be able to work on own initiative and think creatively to resolve complaints and problems
