Looking to work as a Classroom Assistant at a large secondary school in South Birmingham?
A long-term Classroom Assistant opportunity has become available, working with KS3 and KS4 pupils in need of additional support.

** £400 - £450 per week

The Classroom Assistant:


For this Classroom Assistant role, you must have a Level 3 Classroom Assistant qualification, and be experienced working with pupils in KS3 and KS4.

You should have a good understanding of a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, learning difficultiesand SEMH issues.

You should be a Classroom Assistant who is confident working across the national curriculum, being capable at differentiating work to suitably challenge the level of ability of the pupils you are working with.


The Classroom Assistant Role:
As a Classroom Assistant, you will be supporting teachers with delivering lessons across the national curriculum. You will also work with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, providing academic and wellbeing support.

As a Classroom Assistant, it is importantthat you support the teaching staff with managing challenging classroom behaviours and assisting with supporting pupils with SEND.
