An exciting SEN Classroom Assistant opportunity is available, working with pupils in KS1 and KS2 with SEND.

** £400 - £450 per week

The SEN Classroom Assistant Role:
As an SEN Classroom Assistant, you will be supporting pupils from EYFS to KS2 on the SEND register. The pupils have a variety of SEN, primarily Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and SEMH needs.

As an SEN Classroom Assistant, you will be providing supportboth on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, ensuring the needs of each individual are supported as much as possible.

It is important that you manage behaviour effectively and firmly set expectations, but create a nurturing environment that encourages learningand fun.


The SEN Classroom Assistant:
To be eligible for this SEN Classroom Assistant position, you must have extensive experience working with high needs SEN. You must be a Level 3 SEN Classroom Assistant, with extensive experience working with high needs SEN. You must be a strong communicator,capable of building a strong rapport with the young people you support. You must have a caring personality, and a genuine desire to assist pupils with overcoming barriers to education.

This primary school in South Dudley has a relatively high intake of pupils on the SEND register. The leadership team is fantastic and SEND support is superb.
