** £400 - £450 per week

The SEN Support Worker:


For this SEN Support Worker role, you must be a Level 3 SEN Support Worker with experience working with an array of additional needs.

Ideally, you will have experience working with children who are non-verbal and have communication issues.

You should have astrong understanding of the additional needs of the young people you are working with, primarily Autism, and complex learning needs.


The SEN Support Worker Role:


As an SEN Support Worker, you will be providing 1:1 support for a non-verbal pupil in KS1, who has Autism, complex learning difficulties and additional needs.

You will be differentiating work effectively to suitably challenge them.

It is important that youbuild a good rapport with them and begin to assist them with speech and language support.

You will also provide in-class support for students in need of learning assistance and support the class teacher with managing classroom behaviour.


The School:
This primary school based in South Birmingham caters for KS1 and KS2 children with a high intake of SEN.

The pupil you will work with has an EHCP, so it is important you are aware of their individual needs so as to support them appropriately throughout theirlessons.
