Key Responsibilities:

Operating under a high degree of regulatory scrutiny from regulators and exchanges in the wholesale traded markets in areas such as REMIT, EMIR, MAR, MiFID II and exchange/trading venue rules
The role will have significant interaction with the firm's trading and origination business as well as the firm's support and control functions
Identify and follow up on instances of poor market conduct, including potential instances of market abuse, to ensure compliance with regulatory, exchange and internal policy requirements
Maintenance of appropriate records and documentation including the creating of file notes
Support the development, testing, calibration and implementation of surveillance systems and processes that operationalise compliance with internal or external regulatory and exchange compliance requirements
Identify issues or improvements for resolution with internal teams and/or 3rd party vendors
Supporting the preparation of management reporting
Support Requests for Information (RFI) and investigations where required
Delivering training where required

Key Requirements:

Experience in trade surveillance and monitoring
Experienced user of office, monitoring and surveillance technology and ability to analyse data using a variety of tools
Show evidence of clear analytical thinking and be capable of carrying out detailed analysis of trading data and communications
Get to the heart of complex operational problems and issues
Quickly learn new technologies
