We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long Term Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the foundation phase, supporting children both in groups and on a 1-2-1 basis.

• Position: Long Term Learning Support Assistant
• Location: Caerphilly
• Days: 5 days a week
• Duration: Long term

Role Responsibilities:

• Support children in groups and on a 1-2-1 basis within the foundation phase.
• Adapt to the varied nature of the role and be flexible to changes.
• Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and the class teacher.
• Provide assistance to ensure the smooth running of daily activities and learning sessions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role is desirable.
• A patient and empathetic approach when working with children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the students and the school.
• A commitment to promoting the welfare and development of children.
