Are you an investment appraisal and financial modelling expert looking for your next challenging contract? Do you relish the chance to work on major residential property development projects? Do you want to put your Advanced Excel and Financial Modellingskills to best use in a busy, fast paced and complex environment?


My client, a thriving residential property developer operating nationwide but based in a central London office, is recruiting for an Interim Senior Development Finance Analyst on a three-to-six month contract.

With a small number of key projects underway,there is immediate need for high level support in the financial management of development schemes, including:


  • Investment appraisals financial modelling of changes to schemes
  • Scenario analysis, stress testing, and 'what if' projections
  • Budgeting and forecasting, and providing expert level financial analysis
  • Cash flow forecasting for complex, multimillionpound property development schemes
  • Expert level business partnering and stakeholder management.
The office in Central London is open for use, and the team meets there twice a week. Please note that this post can be hired on either a full time or four days per week basis.

To be considered, please meet these criteria:

  • Have extensive experience in the financial management of large scale capital projects, ideally property-based, including skills like investment appraisal and financial modelling
  • Full understanding of core cash flow concepts such as NPV, ROCE, payback, IRR
  • Advanced Excel use, up to and including Macro use
  • First class communication and business partnering skills
