BDS are recruiting for an experienced Housing Customer Service Administrator for an exciting new opportunity based in the Exeter area,
Monday to Friday Hybrid working with 2/3 days in the Exeter office.

Salary from £13.49 per hour PAYE

  • Coordinate and manage customer compensation payments and ensure these are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage, review and action outstanding actions after complaint closure and ensure compliance to timescales.
  • Assist with completing information/evidence packs for the Housing Ombudsman and stage 2 complaints.
  • Assist with meeting the regulatory requirements linked to complaints.
  • Resolve enquiries raised and keeping customers fully informed of next steps.
  • Regularly provide reports to the Service Improvement team on time critical business processes such as deadlines to review generic cases, complaint reminders and responses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to identify positive practice and new ways of working to deliver service improvements
  • Assist with administration in relation to ad hoc projects as and when identified.
  • Work to maximise customer satisfaction and minimise complaints and customer dissatisfaction by proactively tailoring support services and partnerships.
  • Ensure the organisations policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Maintain comprehensive, up to date and accurate records on the internal housing management system.
  • Experience in a fast paced administrative role.
  • Essential prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a customer service environment.
  • Able to manage difficult situations.
  • Good record keeping and input skills.
  • Previous experience in administrating and dealing with complaints, or a demonstration of good customer care skills.
  • Demonstrates a good level of patience and empathy.
  • Able to deliver high levels of customer care.
  • Able to meet deadlines within a fast paced and pressurised environment.
This is a new role, trialling in the team until September 2024. There is a possibility this will become a permanent opportunity, although no guarantees at this time.

From £13.49 per hour
