Why do we need you?

We are excited to offer a position for a **Junior Full Stack Python/Django Developer** to join a vibrant team (Stratford / Hackney Wick), London. This is a hybrid role requiring up to four days of on-site work per week.

As a member of the agile development team, you will play a key role in enhancing industry-leading technologies designed to help businesses worldwide in their decarbonization efforts.

What will you be responsible for?

Design, build, and maintain all layers of their technology stack, from the user interface down to the database.

Actively participate in the ideation, design, and implementation of their applications.

Support application testing to ensure they meet high standards of security, responsiveness, and efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues within applications and associated systems.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to processes and systems.

Develop robust relationships with team members, suppliers, and customers to ensure the seamless execution of projects.

Take initiative and demonstrate leadership in managing tasks and resolving problems.

What Experience and Skills will you need to thrive in this role?

Solid understanding of programming principles, preferably with a foundation in Python or a similar language.

Experience in developing web applications using Django or another MVC framework.

Proficiency in building RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and Bootstrap.

Experience with source control tools like Git.

Understanding of or experience with cloud-based architectures, such as Amazon Web Services, is a plus.

Experience in UI/UX design is beneficial but not required.

Strong analytical skills, quick learning ability, and excellent time management.

Passionate about sustainability, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure.

Outstanding communication skills and the ability to forge positive relationships both internally and externally.
