We're excited to be launching our Graduate Sales Scheme for 2024 and to discovering the next generation of CPLers.

During our two-year programme, you'll work as a Graduate Sales Executive at the heart of the Commercial team, supporting your colleagues with all aspects of the sales process while building the knowledge and skills required to become an expert business development manager.

You'll undertake bespoke placements in other areas of the business to gain valuable insight into operations and production as well as a good understanding of the technical aspects of what we do.

What you'll do:


  • Work as a Sales Executive, supporting the Commercial team with orderrelated procedures and admin.
  • Undertake bespoke placements in other areas of the business to fully understand who we are and what we do.
  • Shadow members of the sales team to build knowledge and experience in a variety of business areas.
  • Visit customer sites to understand their challenges and our solutions, cultivating longterm relationships based on an intrinsic understanding of their needs.
  • Understand and become fully competent in the technical sales process.
  • Build solid working relationships with internal teams to ensure orders and solutions are delivered on time and to expectations, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on lead generation and other relevant activity.
  • Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions, ensuring the CRM is constantly and accurately updated.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to identify new sales opportunities and achieve KPIs and targets.
  • Be uptodate with information on relevant industries, competitors, legislation and opportunities.
  • Commit fully to the training, coaching and mentoring provided.

You will have:


  • A degree in Chemistry or other science / engineering degree with A Level Chemistry.
  • Work experience in chemistry or engineering would be an advantage.
  • An interest in the environment and sustainability.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build rapport and effective relationships.
  • Excellent organisational, timemanagement and problemsolving skills.
  • An eagerness to learn quickly and develop a successful commercial career.
  • A naturally targetdriven, highly motivated approach to work.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full driving licence and the flexibility to travel in the UK and overseas.
