An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our company based in Earls Barton Northamptonshire to undertake BID Management and grow the opportunities on a national level.

Salary is dependent upon experience; starting salary £40k per annum with bonus opportunities available.


The Role

  • Managing and effectively resourcing the bid programme across the business
  • Ensuring the timely production of a bid responses and proposals (SQs, RFPs, ITTs)
  • Developing relationships with prospective clients
  • Networking and providing service queries
  • Office based, with face to face meetings at client's offices where required
  • Providing quotations & following through to acceptance
  • Using agreed tools and processes, manage and undertake the coordination, writing and production of qualityfocused bids and proposals across the company
  • Draft content and reusable documentation for PQQ / RFI / RFP / ITT / Frameworks and improving, the existing knowledge base and drive improved productivity.
  • Report to the Sales Manager and Senior Management Team on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Meet monthly KPIs set by the Senior Management Team
  • Maintain an accurate, documented Sales Database.
  • You will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08:00am till 17:00pm (however work package is flexible)
You will need to be self-motivated and confident communicating with a variety of customers.

As well as this we are looking for someone who's:


  • Previous work experience as a Bid Co-Ordinator, or similar role
  • Commercially aware and knowledge of a variety of commercial deal structures
  • Ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines
  • Track record of submitting successful bids
  • Excellent communication (writing/verbal) skills
  • Proactive and resultsdriven
  • Flexible to varied workload and working hours
  • Able to provide consistently high level of customer service
  • Full & Clean UK driving licence
