Position:
Production Supervisor

Reporting to:
Production Manager

Rate of pay:
£13 per hour _(Dependent on experience) _

Hours: 45 Hours per week Monday - Friday

Location:
Beechdean Manufacturing, Tattenhall, Cheshire

Overview of role:

The main purpose of the role is to Supervise and lead a team of production operators, being responsible for the set up and operation of the production facility.

The main objective of the

Production team is to produce a safe and quality product in a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the activities of production operatives in the factory and manage the shift in that department
Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met
Completion of paperwork and data entry on time and in detail, to agreed reporting structure
Leader and mentor to the team
Assist with labour planning for the department
Control Breaks and staff rotation in the department

Food safety, Health & Safety / HR:

Ensure daily compliance with all Health and Safety, Food safety and GMP requirements
Report any Health and Safety issues onsite to the Production Manager
Report any Food safety issues to the Production Manager
Only use machinery as trained and authorised
Ensure due diligence onsite and operate in a respectful way to all members of staff and visitors
