Job Title:
Customer Telesales Advisor


Hours of Work: 37.5 hours p/w


Salary:
£22, £24,000.00 per annum


Purpose of Job / Company Values
An enthusiastic Telesales Advisor to contribute to new business development for Educ8 Training. Being responsible for cleansing data sets, initiating sales with potential customers over the phone and maintaining excellent customer relationships.


An effective Telesales Advisor, you must be an effective communicator and be comfortable describing and discussing the benefits of our apprenticeship portfolio over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.


This position is key to our business growth, expanding our footprint with both employers and apprentices across all of Wales.

Working within the sales team you'll be set targets to generate new business leads for the sales team.

You will be making appointments for the sales team and opening doors for them to bring on board new clients.

Representing our organisation, maintaining a positive, professional and consultative approach to telephone lead generation. You will be responsible for introducing Educ8's products & services to potential clients whilst creating an excellent first impression.


Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Contact potential customers to inform them of Educ8 Training's Apprenticeship provision
  • Answer questions about our qualifications and/or the company
  • Keeping up to date on all products and informing customers of new products
  • Cleanse and update customer data
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements
  • Listen to customers' needs to generate repeat sales
  • Direct and generate prospects to the sales team
  • Maintain and update accurate information on the group's CRM database.
  • Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
  • Work as part of a team in actively seeking new business and providing new and innovative ways to gain new business.
  • Ensure all queries are handled effectively and efficiently within 48hrs
  • Elements of the role may involve working with adults at risk, children and young people in an educational setting.
  • Reviewing the safeguarding and wellbeing of learners and escalating through the appropriate process where required.

Essential Criteria

  • 12 months sales and lead generation experience
  • Impressive, demonstrable track record and skills/experience gained within a similar position(s), at a similar level
  • Patience and ability to engage customers in conversation
  • Resilience
  • Determined and motivated by targets and objectives
  • Impeccable customer service and communication skills as well as sales ability
  • Strong administration ability with a keen eye for detail
  • Highly organized and punctual
  • Demonstrable commitment to equality diversity and inclusion
  • Suitable to work with adults at risk, children and young people
  • Digitally competent and confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience within the workbased learning arena (preferably in Apprenticeships)
  • Welsh speaker
