Bank Project Worker

Howell Road, Exeter

£10.95

Hours as and when required - shifts covering 7 days a week either 8am to 4pm or 2pm to 10pm

Do you need flexibility in the days you work? Our bank roles (sometimes referred to as "relief roles" in other companies) mean that you will be able to choose from available shifts and have the benefits of a consistent workplace combined with opportunity to build positive relationships with the individuals we support.

However, you aren't guaranteed shifts every week as hours are worked as and when required.

Do you have a passion for supporting people?

If this sounds like you then we may have your perfect opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Bank Project Worker to make a real difference to the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, many of whom have complex/dual diagnosis and need support with basic life skills.

We aim to encourage independent living and basic life skills to enable our service users to positively move on from our short term accommodation and to have positive interactions with other support agencies within the city.

You will be working with a maximum of 5 clients on a shift basis, though the role is very reactive and may call for you to deliver support to whomever requires it.

We provide a comprehensive induction programme as well as on-going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression.

Sanctuary have their own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all.

Sanctuary also has a great employee Rewards scheme, where you will be able to receive a variety of discounts from major retailers.

If you want to make a positive impact to people's lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team.
