Infrastructure Engineer
Brighton, Hybrid

Exciting Opportunity: £45,000 per year + bonus and benefits

We are on the lookout for a talented Infrastructure Engineer to become part of a reputable financial services company. Your main mission will be to ensure the network runs smoothly, tackle problems swiftly, and maintain a secure and efficient network with as little downtime as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating a network infrastructure tailored to the company's needs.
• Setting up and configuring network equipment like Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.
• Keeping an eye on network performance and ensuring system reliability.
• Fixing issues related to software, hardware, and IT systems effectively.
• Applying different network protocols for improved productivity, like RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Implementing security measures for protecting software, hardware, and information.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.
• Detailed understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security principles.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (Routers, Switches, and Firewalls).
• Proficient in configuring and resolving issues with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network devices.
• Hold relevant certifications, like Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
