IT Desktop Support Analyst - Northampton
IT Support Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support environment and Microsoft & Windows Desktop Support, is required to join a growing IT team within a leading law firm in central Northampton.
This role will require you to use your technical expertise to resolve m 2nd line IT issues for employees in a timely manner and contribute to the team by providing an excellent IT support service.
Experience Required:
- 2 years in a similar 1st/2nd line IT support role
- Excellent working knowledge of helpdesk/ticketing software
- Windows 10 & MS Office
- Active Directory, Exchange & Group Policy
- Desktop support and hardware troubleshooting
- Excellent understanding of various systems and a passion to learn about new and upcoming technology and software
- Ability to find solutions and assist staff at all levels
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver on deadlines
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Helpdesk/Telephone Support
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Building and deploying PCs and laptops
- Provide basic Microsoft Office 365 support
- Manage and escalate tickets
- Active Directory tasks
- Able to support users remotely and onpremises
- Create user profiles
- Roll out software centrally and manually
- Offer user laptop health checks
- Managing all tasks via helpdesk system
- Review ticket trends with line manager
- Support team and firm with ad hoc IT tasks
