Description
The main element of the role is to track patients referred into the Trust on a suspected cancer pathway.This involves documenting each step in the Somerset Cancer Register and escalating any investigations which fall outside of the agreed timescales.
It is imperative each pathway is streamlined so that patients can be treated within the nationally agreed Cancer Waiting Times.
You will also be expected to prepare and attend Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings where patients are reviewed by clinical teams and treatment plans are decided.
During these meetings you will operate the video conferencing equipment and record patient outcomes.
